Assessing student performance is a key factor in student achievement. Hospitality Employment Experience students are evaluated on their paid work performance throughout the duration of their course, providing opportunities for improvement and success.
Mentors and students meet every two-weeks to discuss progress of academic studies and provide guidance on developing action plans to achieve goals.
Step 1: The job rotation curriculum includes four departments; each department is assessed as a curriculum.
Step 2: Students are provided with deliverables for each curriculum.
Step 3: Deliverables are assessed based on a performance-based scale.
Step 4: The Certificate of Completion and transcripts from the evaluation are available for viewing by students through their online profile. Giving students the ability to create trackable links for use with prospective employers.
